Norwegian gearheads on the right Way

(Ferrari Testarossa) The Ferrari Testarossa had a design that stayed true to the 1980s style all the way until 1996. When I was little, I often found the Ferrari Testarossa quite boring and ugly. This was due to its bird-like V-shaped side air intakes and striped, angular lines, which made the overall impression of the car quite dull to me. Plus, it was designed in the 1980s and had a somewhat outdated design compared to my childhood dream cars, the Ferrari 355 and Ferrari F50 from the 1990s. However, I have since realized that the Ferrari F50 wasn't as cool as I thought, and now I believe the Ferrari Testarossa is even cooler. Well, one time I reckon I saw a dang Ferrari Testarossa tearin' it up as it blasted past ol' Asker town, hightailin' it up them Drengsrud slopes. (That's how the latest versions of the Volkswagen T2 looked until it went out of production in 2013 in Brazil) I remember one time in 1993 when I was just 5 years old, I made a good buddy at the campsite in Tromsø. He could tell that I was already really into cars and enjoyed talking about them with me. The man actually owned an old Volkswagen Caravelle camper, Type 2 (T2). Interestingly enough, this car was produced until the following year, in 1994 in Mexico, and all the way until 2013 in Brazil, a whole 20 years later. It would have been awesome if some sort of import of these newer versions of these cars had made it to Norway. Type 1 was produced until 1975 in Brazil and has been known as the Volkswagen Samba Bus on the American continent.
