ZIL 131 Acmat trucks and Ural 4320!
The ZIL 131 is a damn cool truck designed in the 1940s style and produced all the way until 2012. It's made in Russia, where you can get it as a camper-truck (check out the picture below!).
Drive the ZIL 131 like a true explorer on a trip through Siberia and you'll be the king of the motor heads comunity.
The Ural 4320 or UralAZ 4320 from 1976 is a Russian truck built with a design from the 1940s, and believe it or not, they're still being produced today. The UralAZ 375 is the predecessor to the Ural 4320, and production started in the early 1960s.
Drive them like a true highland farmer or an explorer, and you'll be the king of the motor heads comunity.
Y'all, here's a YouTube link to a meetup in Germany with a whole bunch of UralAZ 4320 trucks.
If y'all liked that video, check out more links right here.
Acmat trucks are trucks manufactured in France by Acmat. They specialize in military vehicles and are now owned by Renault. In the early 80s, this truck was one of the first to participate in the Dakar Rally. Acmat trucks were produced from the late 1940s to the early 1950s. It apparently has a reputation for being a lousy military vehicle and was sold cheaply to Africa in the 70s.
Acmat trucks look just as outdated as the Russian military trucks from the 1960s, resembling cars from the 1940s. Drive an Acmat like a fierce African lion hunter!
