Citroen XM

Citroen XM was one heck of a car back in its day, with that fancy hydropneumatic suspension and extra comfy ride that made it handle curves like a dream. These cars could lower and raise themselves dependin' on the terrain and curves. There was also a badass version called the Citroen XM Musketier, and even a special one for the French president called the "presidential limousine." I remember ridin' with my uncle long after the Citroen XM and Peugeot 605 were outta production. Uncle was drivin' a Volvo XC90 by then, but he used to drive a Peugeot 605 Turbo some 10-15 years earlier, which was Peugeot's flagship, kinda like Citroen's.

The Citroen XM came with some serious engines too, includin' hefty 2.9 and 3-liter V6 gasoline engines with 24 valves, as well as a 2-liter turbo gasoline and a 2.5-liter turbo diesel.

Uncle would go on 'bout that Citroen XM Presidential Limousine made special for the French president, sayin' he'd have loved to have one back in the '90s.

I long thought it was a Citroen XM that rear-ended my dad's old Mazda, squishin' it so bad only the driver's seat and dashboard were left intact! But who knows, dad was in shock and couldn't remember what kinda car hit him. Probably 'cause dad didn't know much about cars.

Worth mentionin' dad came out of it with just a scare and a sore neck, which meant I couldn't ride on his shoulders for a good while.

"Citroen XM, especially the XM Musketier, can be tricked out with real 1980s chrome on the front, louvered rear window shades, which it suits perfectly, tinted windows, air fresheners, dice, boxing gloves, and a fox tail, makin' you the king of the car scene."
